Florencia Sokol is an Argentinian writer, screenwriter, and actress working independently across fiction and serialized storytelling. With a background in communication, theatre, and performance, she is particularly drawn to stories that explore emotional complexity through a comedic or dramedy lens. Her most recent series, Apartment A, premiered on UN3TV in 2025 and was nominated and awarded on several series festivals such as Die Seriale, NJ Web Fest, Bilbao Seriesland, Hollywood Series Awards, Rio Web Fest, Mac Marin and others. It’s currently nominated for Best Short Series at the Cóndor de Plata, one of the most prestigious awards in Argentina. As a writer, she published Porcupine Strategies (2022, short stories, publishing house: Falsotrébol) and Bust and Marriage (2025, nouvelle, publishing house: Azul Francia), as well as taking part in different contests and anthologies.
