Lucas Yalaza, born in Wiesbaden in 1999, is a German Director and Filmmaker specializing in genre and documentary films. After completing his bachelor’s degree in Motion Pictures at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences with his 30-minute documentary film “ANTIOCH – On the trails of history,” he is now pursuing his master’s degree at the SAE Institute. In addition to his work as a Director, Lucas has gained extensive experience in production and post-production, primarily through his work at the Wiesbaden-based production company Lando Film. Lucas is currently in the financing phase of the short film project “AMELIE” (WT), which is to be realized in collaboration with the German Society for Suicide Prevention (DGS). The project aims to generate awareness for mental health in a joint campaign at universities in Germany. At the same time, Lucas is developing his debut feature – an intimate, contained thriller exploring guilt and psychological pressure within a confined space.
