Oliver Mend is a Basque Writer-Director, Producer and Creative Technologist, Co-Founder of A Film To Kill For and Bilbao Seriesland. His career combines genre storytelling, digital innovation and cinematic experimentation, earning international recognition across festivals and industry platforms for directing, writing, editing and digital narratives. His work has received awards and selections in fantasy, action and serialized storytelling, helping position Basque audiovisual creation within the global independent scene. As Artistic Director of Bilbao Seriesland and Founder of DIMA Digital Market, he has helped connect emerging creators, producers and platforms through initiatives focused on innovation, international collaboration and new audiovisual formats. Through A Film To Kill For, he is now expanding creative and production workflows using generative AI for the Cultural and Creative Industries, exploring new tools for development, production and narrative design.
