Patrick Schimanski works as a transdisciplinary Artist across all genres. He is a Composer, Sound Artist, Dramaturg, Performer, and Director, working nationally and internationally in both the independent scene and at municipal and state theaters. He develops new experimental and performative formats in various formations and is also deeply engaged with the topics of sustainability and digital technology. His work can be found in a wide variety of venues, including the Spielart Festival, the Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen, the Thalia Theater Hamburg, the Deutsches Theater Berlin, the Stuttgart State Opera, the Schauspielhaus Zürich, the Krakow Opera House, the virtual Theatertreffen organized by Nachtkritik, Deutschlandradio Kultur, and many more.
