Learned documentary filmmaking at Popp & Bergmann (PILOTFILM). Then served as Team Coordinator at CINETEAM FILMPRODUKTION (1980s). Consultant in the areas of media financing, concepts, and sponsorship for film production and post-production companies. Among other things, co-developed and managed the PANDORA FILM Fund for financing feature films (1990s). Served as Festival Director of the eDIT Filmmakers’ Festival (CGI/VFX) for eleven years. Founded STOKED FILM in 2003 and has served as its Managing Partner to this day (2000s). Founding Chairman of the Association of the Hessian Film Industry and Film and Media Policy, and in 2020 awarded the “Creative Prize” by the State of Hesse for “International Co-Production” (The Bank Hacker / series).
