Oliver Arnold

Oliver Arnold is the managing partner and producer at U5 Filmproduktion in Frankfurt. Together with Katrin Haase, he is responsible for restructuring the company and tapping into new markets to broaden its scope in the future. After studying at the Hochschule Darmstadt he entered the industry at Pixomondo in Frankfurt, specializing in visual effects. Over time, he contributed to big international and award-winning projects, amongst them “Hugo” by Martin Scorsese (Oscar for Best Visual Effects) and the dragons for the HBO series “Game Of Thrones”. He subsequently pursued studies in International Producing at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, leading him to his current role. In 2021, he and Katrin Haase took over U5 Filmproduktion as managing directors, subsequently producing series such as “Becoming Charlie” and “Füxe” as well as films like “Das Mädchen von früher” and “Tatort: Erbarmen. Zu spät.”.
