Social media is becoming more and more essential to promote new projects. Last year Sara Mauleón and Schokominza Michel told us about the different platforms we can use and how to carry out a content plan to market a web series. This time, they will focus on cross media work, in which we will see how we can spread our message and adapt it to different contexts. They will show us how to reach different user profiles through different channels and always maintain strategic coherence.
The panel delves into the complex and intertwined realms of financing and data analysis for series production. Looking towards the future, changes will be discussed and traditional methods of financing and data processing will be contrasted with new approaches. Will it soon be necessary to incorporate AI-supported audience prediction into the applications for funding? What opportunities and challenges arise from new data collection methods, and how are funding institutions responding to these changes?
Once a project is finished, in this case a series, what are the next steps to follow? How to show that your work can be on the big screen? A creator can use different ways to prove that his idea is worth investing in or buying, he may use a trailer, a pilot or maybe a concept where he sets the target audience. And how do you produce this proof? In this panel creators and distributors will talk about what kind of proof is required in the industry and most importantly, what makes a good proof of concept.

Celebration & Networking
The objective of this workshop is to work on the initial process of audiovisual development, from your own idea to a pitch deck. The workshop is divided into two parts. The first part will be dedicated to the idea development process. The second part will focus on writing texts for presenting your projects: logline, format, genre, themes, structure, synopsis, characters, high concept. Between these parts there will be a practice exercise, in which you’ll make your own pitch deck for a short series.
